THE STAGE IS SET IN RIVA FOR THE EUROSAF 69F EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP, OPENING EVENT OF THE 69F CUP

Riva del Garda (Garda Lake), June 11th 2025 – The stage is set in Riva del Garda for the EUROSAF 69F European Championship, opening event of the 69F Cup 2025 scheduled along the end of the week. The teams have gathered and along the docks sailors wonder who might follow Clement Cron’s Groupe Atlantic in the roll of honor of the event, valid also as opening appointment of the 69F Cup.
 
After spending the winter in the heat of Dubai, where several 69F events took place, the fleet is now ready for the annual debut on the Garda Lake, where plenty of races and big sensations are expected: in these days on the Garda Lake teams have enjoyed the regularity and the intensity of Peler and Ora winds. To host the event is Fraglia Vela Riva: a Guinnes World Record holder in regatta organization.
 
Spotlights are on FIN1 Racing: Allan Norregaard’s team has been on the top of Europe two years ago always showing himself at the highest levels in every event of the past season. The Finnish team will find some fierce opponents in Sergey Kuznetsov’s Pirogovo; ACTG X BYC helmed by Valentina Steinlein; Elevation Sailing Team with Alexis Just at the helm and the home team FVR Sailing Team, led by Alex Demurtas, reigning 29er’s European champion.
 
Races will take place between June 11th and June 14th on a race course designed on the basis of the current weather conditions.
 
The EUROSAF 69F European Championship will end on saturday afternoon with the prizegiving, planned in the terrance of Fraglia Vela Riva.
